Marshall Specialist Vehicles
Marshall Specialist Vehicles (MSV) specialises in the design development integration and delivery of specialist shelters and vehicles bodies for military and specialist security forces applications. There are a number of flexible standard solutions within the MSV ground and vehicle based shelter portfolio however bespoke solutions, particularly for vehicle bodies are frequently required and provided.
MSV shelters and vehicle solutions are designed to withstand the harshest environmental conditions from the very hot to the very cold and in particular to keep dust and contamination out. These attributes are part of a full suite of attributes that includes CBRN EMP, EMC, EMI protection and compliance.
These shelters have been used for; medical and hospital applications, ground control stations for UAV's and Satellites, communications hubs and command posts and specialist applications such as the recent the MoD UK's Deployable Machine Shop and Fire Service's Incident Response Units.
MSV has 28,000 sq m of protected secure production facility backed up by the necessary design, development and production capability to enable rapid production line capability as well as painting and finishing of vehicles. Other skills include physical and electronic integration either to a design from another party or as a result of full design contracts. MSV frequently undertakes, this work utilizing customer interaction to achieve the best design. MSV is the design authority of many in service vehicles, vehicle variants and shelters.
Customer support is a major consideration in MSV's processes and there is a dedicated team involved with the customer from the start of the project until its end and then with the replacement of the capability as more modern capabilities become available. In addition fleet management and support, both in the UK and operational theatres, is undertaken by this Customer Support Group.
